7.5t licence entitlement - cost etc?
Discussion
Just a passing thought at this stage, but I'm wondering roughly how much it would cost to get 7.5 entitlement, and a ball park estimate for how long it takes to get.
I only have standard car and bike entitlements at present, so can't go above 3.5t.
Guessing it'll be prohibitively expensive / time consuming, but if you don't ask and all that...
Cheers

£750 for 3-4 days instruction and test on final day. Driving roughly 4-6 hours a day. About £170-200 if you need to retake the test.
Did mine 3 years ago. Depending on what you want to do with it you may be better going for your C class. Up to 15 ton, however it changes to a split gear box and is obviously alot bigger. I only needed C1 so did not do it.

Make sure you know what entitlement you need for the jobs you're looking to do. There are seperate entitlements for vehicle and trailer, not just a weight limit. They require different tests.Car (upto 3.5t) + trailer = B+E
Truck (rigid) = C
7.5t = C1 (I think...)
Truck + trailer = C+E
etc.
