Tried to achieve 2 things today, setting aside a few hours.

1. Change the bulbs at the front to brighter ones.
2. Adjust the window height of the drivers window.

Failed on both !!!

Seems someone had a party with the sealant last time around. No matter how much razor blade the back of the light housing would not budge.

As for the window height I thought I found all the screws, around the left, top and right edges, the window handle, door handle and pull mechanism. But the bottom edge of the door was "stuck" or secured somehow.

2 simple jobs I thought. Any tips - especially the bulb changing - would be useful. I'm thinking new light fittings is the only answer!!!

Cheers spotted one of them from the opposite side but it looked like it was holding the door card insert in place.

Incidentally once I've got the thing off is the window height adjustment easy to do?

Been thinking about the bulb replacement, I'm sure someone must know a sneaky method to break the seals. Like a recommended tool or something.

From memory the light housing is held on by 4 nuts on studs, so you need to get them off as well as break the sealant.
