Lunch In The Lake District

One Thursday coming up i've got a few hours to kill in the Lake District.

Does anywhere have any recommendations for a nice lunch? It can be anywhere in Cumbria

I always go to The Swan at Newby Bridge when I fancy a spot of lunch in the lakes

Kirkstone Inn atop Kirkstone Pass.

Great views and friendly service,, usually with an open fire

Nothing fancy but good grub and good beverages.

As recomended a few times it has to be the rothay garden hotel in grassmere, stunning food (head chef & second in command have worked there over 15 years) & great service.
+ great roads leading to it
Top wine cellar as well......

There are some spectacular places to eat in the Lakes, might as well make the most of it!
