My next project? Mercedes 560SEL..

Oh dear, I'm tempted to buy this and return it back to its former glory. I've still got the C43, but not for long, so maybe this could be my next project Although the C43 has cost me an absolute fortune, which i won't get back and i really need to save my money for a house move at the end of the month...

What do we think chaps?

Solid cars for little cash. I think Hadrian do pattern wings for them (if they are gone like most) for little money also, and are good quality.
Lovely motor car, still very handsome.

I could be tempted with a C43, but that SEL is rather lovely.

Go for it, a couple of years back I had an '89 500SE for a few months, sold it in favour of a 635CSi and the wife was getting restive. Make sure it idles right, can be costly to put right.
