Wife's had her tyres slashed. Fuming is not the word......
Discussion
So I get a call off the good lady who has taken our girls swimming saying that the car is not steering correctly and she is having to drive at 20mph. When she gets home I discover that both of the n/s tyres are flat. On closer inspection I could see that the tyres have been slashed and I'm f
king fuming as this could of easily led to an accident plus the tyres are only 4 week old 18" falken 452's.
This is not a personal attack on us as the baths aren't local in fact they are in the sticks and we don't usually use them but jeez where do these scrotes get off.
I would of loved to of caught the f
kers in the act and as usual there are no cctv's in the area.

Utter cocks! It peeves me so much when people find it acceptable to damage someone elses property. I guess there isnt much point in reporting it?
On annother note, perhaps you might suggest for your wife to check if the car feels like that again. Could have caused a nasty accident (I know of someone who unknowingly drove on a flat, and ended up writing the car off almost killing someone in the process).

Find the
s and do the same to their faces!!!
My mum had the headlight washers stolen right out the bumper of her BMW in January. In the carpark of the supermarket I used to work in.
And to make matters worse I literaly got a call while she was out when it was happening from the Land Rover dealership telling me her new freelander was ready to go and of course we were PXing the beamer for it. Theiving s
tbags.

I'm sorry but your wife needs a bit of a talk if she carries on driving on two flat tyres, she's not alone though I had a mate drive with one flat for 10 miles only stopping when the tyre actually came off the rim.

king tyre rolling along side me......?"essexplumber said:
What car is it? I only ask as I've heard of a few attacks on "gas guzzlers", it may have been done by some eco asshole.
Newish Audi A3, it's a nice looking car with 18" S3 alloys. My wife did pull over but because they are 225/40/18 tyres she could not tell that they were flat. When she got home we got the compressor on them and you could see a clear 2mm slit on the sidewall of each tyre.
I only changed them the other week because it had shyte budget tyres on and didn't want to risk it with it being the family hack so bought some 452's.
Still upset & if I had a ball I would be taking it home....

Are you sure she didn't run over something which ripped the tyres? A sharp edge or a piece of metal in the road could be the guilty party.
This is what happened to my other half in her Audi TT (she rang me and moaned about the car feeling odd while driving at 50mph down the M1 to the next services - it had just been serviced and she was blaming Leeds Audi for fuuking up the Haldex, I suggested getting out and counting the wheels first, wimmen!). Nice cut in the sidewall which looked like a knife.

Tell me about it. I drive Range Rovers quite often in the country and had some tree hugging waste of oxygen try and hit it with a stick as I drove past not long back. I'll see how well he bounces of the front cross member next time As for the OP. Its such a s
te feeling when things like this happen. Could you not claim on your insurance if you have protected NCB and a low excess?Jesus, I wanted to hunt down the bas@@@who stole two of my chrome dust caps from my discovery 4. If I had seen someone slashing my tyres I honestly don't think knowing that they had a knife would of stopped me attacking them.
I'm coming to the conclusion that in today's society there is little point in owning nice things that the general public can get near and I have a feeling that it's only going to get worse.

Not being rude but there is not a tyre in the land that wouldn't look flat had it been slashed. And, there shouldn't be a driver in the land who can't tell a slashed tyre within 5 seconds of starting driving. They make a knocking noise, the steering wheel judders at low speed, progressively moving towards the slashed tyres.
At the end of the day, its s
t that its happened, by my god how clueless is the missus for not noticing.
