Okay guys I am used to the usual scams is this a new take?

Thank and your asking £7K5 is fair which i will have to make an initial deposit so you can be sure i'm very much interested..i've contacted an agency that will come for the inspection since i'm off-shore and don't know its present condition, then i can send out the balance..I shall be back in 3 weeks, but then my regiment will be deployed to Iraq and I think I'll stay there for a while...Since i am off-shore,the agent charges include to the deposit check and you keep 750(10% of £7K5) for the deposit and the balance is for the Inspecting agent you send out so that they can be in your location at your convenience cos they making other vital inspections and deliveries for me..okay
I shall need your Full name, address and Phone #..To make and send it out the check..
You shall get your balance after inspection is completed...I will give you a call once i get onshore like wise the agent so that all arrangement could be intact..The best way to contact me is via email as I'm always running around with things.

Sincerely
Tom

Sounds like one. Can't spell 'cheque'.

Disgusting to use our troops service this way.

had this atleast twice a day whilst trying to sell my focus last year.

What car is it your selling?

i think they target people selling 'normal' cars. since there's alot about for sale, you're more like to be drawn in.

Makes you think though, how stupid would you have to be to get drawn into that?

Doesn't read as if the sender is English.

Of course he could be a retard English person...

Bound to be a scam though.

Run away.

I get this kind of crap a lot. I have a standard reply. It starts and ends with an F.

I would love that Land Rover!

The bit that made me laugh in that e-mail is "but then my regiment will be deployed to Iraq and I think I'll stay there for a while"

I think I'll stay there for a while?

Like soldiers get a choice of how long they want to serve in Afghan at any one time!?

Wtfs an inspection agency? And no one writes like that! Cars sell f2f with cash or cleared cheques. Anyone offering cash upfront is a scammer , it's not hard to figure that out!
