Hi

My first post on pistonheads from a E46 330ci MSport owner - would love to start off with adding info, but unfort have a very basic question. After a long and happy 30,000 miles I need new tyres.

This weekend I discovered that one of the fronts has a small screw embedded and therefore is losing pressure slowly. As they are getting a touch old anyway (4 years), decided to change front (235) and rear (255) in one go.

From searching the forum it seems the branded tyres are pretty pricey (600-900) for a full set

Couple of questions:
- where best to buy & fit tyres around (East) London - looks like KwikFit and NationAutowideCenters quote 650-750 for most major brands - not sure how good service and quality of workmanship is. Been recommended mytyres.co.uk but cant really see a major price difference.
- any specific tyre recommendations, runflats\budget or even garages

Have been googling abouts and RTFF but little tangible info found. Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much
Andreas

Or you can buy the tyres from Blackcircles and they will arrange for them to be delivered and fitted at a branch local to you if you go for the fitted option. Did mine this way and got a really good price! even the place fitting them could not have beaten the price if Id gone direct they said.

Event tyres for me - used them for over 6 years now - they're great (prices pretty much as good as anywhere and have tools which don't damage your rims - a lot of shops tools can, especially when they're trying to get off RFTs.
