I am currently selling an engine that i took out of my toyota mr2 on eBay, i keep getting mixed messages: some say I'm selling to expensive others say im not selling it expensive enough.
So please value my engine and all the parts that come with it!...
Here is the link:

Thanks!

I think you should split the components (exhaust, ecu, wiring loom etc) into different listings. You are narrowing your market a lot by trying to get someone who needs all of it.

Recon engines with 3 / 6 months warranty appear to be available from £600.

+1

The chances that someone wants a complete setup in one go are slim.
Plus, if you've listed seperately, but someone does want it all, they'll probably have to pay more ('cos there might be competition for parts)

I bought a 3sge engine complete with loom and ecu but no gearbox earlier this year on an ebay auction . It was a similar mileage but from a 97 car and I paid £170 .

There is currently a BEAMS 3SGE from a 2002 car with (allegedly) 47k miles on it for £700, so I'd suspect a 20 year old standard 3SGE with a gearbox is not worth £750.

Probably half that, if not less. Engines aren't worth a great deal with that kind of mileage.
