Think you will find Tux that you may have a screw loose, I prefer the bonding method, far more permanent and less likely to allow cracks to appear.

so the scoops do not require any cutting or shutting then. good good. i like the idea of bonding them on.

Quite fancy getting some dipped in that 'stuff' which makes them look like carbon fibre...

you might want to consider getting some wider scoops made up that actually work

might be an idea for a group buy ?

has somebody got a set we can use as a template to get some wider ones made up

i might know a guy who can make them to a better spec (wider)

if i can get them blow moulded / vacuum formed they should be pretty cheap

Do the side scoops do anything to improve air-flow into the engine? I think not, in fact, if anything they increase drag - your choice chaps.

They work fine if you open up the inner wheel arches to allow air to flow down the side of the car , hedge cutters also help :-)

I'll be doing some smoke testing (We made our own smoke wand and it works an absolute treat) in our "wind tunnel" when I get my car done, will show clearly just how badly mesh affects air flow. redface
