How to prevent tyres from perishing?
Discussion
Im currently storing a horse trailer outside and wanted to know the best way to prevent the tyres from perishing?
The trailer currently needs some new brakes so its not moved for 4 months and won't until after christmas.
The current tyres are 1 year old and have had very minimal use so I'd like to prevent them from being ruined!

Cheers guys, looks like taking them off is the best option. However im not sure i'll be able to leave it with no wheels on incase it needs to be moved for access reasons.
Would it be better to stick it on axle stands with the wheels still on? Also with regards to covering the wheels over whats best to use?

If your leaving them on, with weight on keep them correctly inflated, and rotate them so the same part isn't supporting the box for too long, try to keep out of the sun and try to prevent temperature variation (old blanket covering them)
Prop on axle stands and deflate/cover if your OK with re inflating every time it needs to be moved!
