As promised to the guys who came to Wales with us, we're going to do a little run down the fun roads (no motorways thank you!), from Redditch to Silverstone, for this weekend's Sunday Service.

As per usual, we'll meet at the Tesco petrol station in Redditch and head off from there. Gates open at 9am and it's probably going to be busy. As such (and so as to at least get back home for lunch time!), we plan to meet at Tesco at 7:20, fill up with Momentum and then head off for 7:30'ish. That gives a nice hr'ish to enjoy the quiet roads on the way to Silverstone.

I've not worked out the route yet, but have one from a previous run that I'll update this week. Usual Sat Nav rules apply wink

Click here for PH Event Instructions. If you're name isn't already on the list, you're not going to get in until later in the day. As such, pls only sign up for the run if you've got a spot, or you're a passenger with someone who's got a spot.

If you're on the list, local to The 'Ditch and fancy an early morning strop down the A & B roads, add your name below and we'll see you on Sunday smile

1 - 356Speedster (Atom 3 or MP350)
2 - 993Targa (V8 Vantage)
3 - Sone (911 GT3)
4 - B.J.W (Audi RS4)
5 - Jingars (Caterham)
6 - DaveL485 (21 Turbo "If i give her any more she'll blow cap'n" Quadra)
7 - K321 (Saab Aero)
8 - itch (Eunos Roadster)
9 - Atom 3 (Atom 3)

A Caterham would like to join you.

Well, for the start at least - looking at the machinery listed I am not sure how long I will be hanging off the back of the convoy

That young fella who turned up in the 85BHP 205 on our recent jaunt to Wales drove slowly - mainly because Sone was holding him up most of the way.

Couldn't agree more. Heated seats are fine in cold weather, but they do tend to make you sweat after a while.

Err, neither does my non-existent Sat Nav. Is the lack of such a device going to present me with a problem?

Plan B will be to try and hang on to the car in front.

Plan C (once Plan B fails, as it undoubtedly will) is to make our own way there.

What is the plan for those who meet at Tesco in the Ditch but havent got a spot on the Sunday Service. Is there parking else where?

Cheers

Those without parking are told not to arrive before 11am. I think none of us are sure about local parking. I'd be surprised if there is much public parking locally. Keep your eye on the list it's up and down like a yoyo.

A good point smile

I was under the impression that we are meeting at the Tesco in Coldfield Drive, B98 7RU?

List updated.

Sorry folks, been away with work and not had much access to e-mail. In response to discussions.....We are going to LEAVE Tesco Redditch (Coldfield Drive) @ 7:30, so ensure you're there and gassed up ready to go.

I'll work out a route tonight, so let me know if you want it for your TomTom. It'll be a run down the middle of the country to Banbury'ish and then onto Silverstone from there.

I honestly don't know if there'll be public parking near to the Porsche Centre for those who don't have a spot, so I'd suggest you make sure you have your name on the reserve list. If you want to have a run down with us and chance parking somewhere near the circuit, that's your risk wink

Looks like we've got another cool bunch of cars on for the run, I'm looking forwards to it!
