Extending warranty via 3rd Party

I know us R8 owners are charlatans here but I still felt this was the best place to post this.

My R8 will be 3 years old in December and i've just been quoted £3k per annum to extend the warranty via VAG. This feels quite steep, so I was wondering who you guys used and what you are paying?

I dont, I just save a bit each month. I got quoted about 3 grand a year ago, had I taken the warranty a year ago I would now be £3k down. I think these warranties are any good if something catastrophic happens, like your engine blowing up! You just have to weigh it all up.
