Tis indeed lovely.

I know it shouldn't be, but it's sad to see your Chim up for sale. I've come to associate you 'Big Al' with that particular car...

Although I'm sure I'll get over it once you take me out for a ride in the Tuscan!

DustyC - he won't go for reflex black, believe me I've tried!!

Thanks for that Matt.

I do try hard to keep her looking her best, not easy when I drive her everyday.

Dusty, Roz is right it won't be black, had two black cars over the years both looked great when just cleaned but the next day! nightmare!

Got my eye on a Nebula Blue one at the present, but Mrs Big Al is not sure about the colour having seen that it in the flesh. (the colour that is)

So I'm thinking Spectraflair Silver? or Purple Paradise. I do like metallic warm reds.

Our car with the right colour combination is out there somewhere, it just hasn't found us yet.

There was a gun metal metallic grey at Donnington on sunday which looked very tasty and different to the usual silver.

(colour description made up by me, not sure of real name).

Think I know the colour you're refering to, NICE.

I'll keep making notes.

Jesus Christ Cosmos ... give me a break - I'm trying to keep it "in the family" as hard as I can but I'm getting knackered.

Erm ... it's a colour that once seen has to be impossible *NOT* to have an opinion on!

... a bit like Jo's "It *HAS* to be blue with magnolia interior ... Red? Noooo ... that's too 'look at me' ... no I don't like biscuit leather at all, far too dark ..." to "Big Al's is lovely"? (Crimson Starmist with Biscuit, right Al?)

paradise purple

black does look great when gleaming, but I think I would agree with Big Al in that I couldnt be arsed to clean it daily to keep it looking its best.

Rage do a chrome special effect thats sprayed over a full black base.

Not seen pictures of it but I bet its amazing.

Also I very much doubt that there are any other TVR's the same colour.

Its not stupid money either...

I think Dave Batty's is a Storm Grey ?? That one's with a red interior - not the combination for me personally, but very nice all the same. The shape is shown off to really good effect and the interior has a lovely warm glow to it.

I can tell you that you won't regret moving up the Ladder (Knew you would after our chat at the Severn Stars !! )
Personally I like the dark colours although James Agger's Iced Titanium S with the Red interior is beautiful. There has been lots of threads here about better residual with a Dark colours but it's your choice at the end of the day. That's one of the great things about TVR. Just about every colour combo's out there, you just have to hunt it down.

BigAl, get Dusty to help you search for your ideal car.

By doing this, you will have had sufficient time to save for a Typhon. (There again, the Typhon will be an outdated car by then.....)
