Can somebody please tell me exactly what an XJR-R is, if it actually exists !!

Also what is the load rating on XJR tyres ?

AFAIK, there was an XKR-R but never an XJR-R, but I stand to be corrected.

XJR-R is not an official model designation for an XJ. It a nickname used for XJR with the factory "R" options of Brembo big brakes and BBS Milan wheels.

Tyre rating 95Y

You can see the R performance options brochure here:

http://www.jag-lovers.org/brochures/2000performanc...

This includes the Milan alloys and Brembo brakes for the XJR.

I think you'd be happier with that combination if you saw the cost of the pads and discs for the Brembo option... smile

Found an article from EVO, 2002 where they refer to it as an XJR-R Maybe they coined the phrase, rather than it being an official Jaguar model name.
