Is there a DIY way of checking the Camber

bob-weight on a string type camber gauges are cheap .. about 50 pounds. well worth investing as long as youve got somewhere level to check the car.

spirit level and a metal ruler?

position the spirit level vertically, and measure the distance from the spirit level to the rim at the bottom and the rim at the top. you should be able to work out the angle from that?

There's an app for that if you are an Android user, its called Camber Gauge of all things . Small charge for it but I hear its pretty good.

I use a free app called smart protractor.

There's also one on the I Phone called IAlign, again a small cost and I have yet to field (paddock) test it.

i found one called kick the top of the wheel as hard as possible then do up bolt. i will let you know how good it is after oulton
