Having owned my first Cerb for a month now and put 2k on the clock.I have decided the car is for me,is it headlight conversion or 18 spiders for my first move.

Neither, Nitrons or if you already have them wait for the new ecu

I've just had the headlight conversion and 18" spiders and Nitrons. I pick the car up on Saturday so when I've stopped grinning I'll let you know my opinion.

Well I'll have to stop grinning at least long enough to talk to Joolz about the ECU upgrade sometime...

Indeed, only certain air stewardesses and Barbie have managed to perfect the grin and talk process.

Having had all three done at one point or another I'd say that, given the choice, I'd probably leave the Nitrons till last again - getting used to how the car drives, figuring out exactly how you want the handling improving, etc. takes time. It's easy to tell straight away whether you want the headlights and/or wheels, though. I'd probably book it in for the headlights, and keep my eyes open for a second hand set of spiders if/when they become available. I'd make notes of what you don't like about the car's handling characteristics, too, and feed this in to choosing the right dampers/springs/whatever when you feel you're driving beyond the limits of the car.

Don't forget Des O'Conner.

Actually, do forget Des O'Conner.
