Will these wheels fit?
Discussion
When I bought my 5 a couple of weeks ago I was given a free set of wheels (with brand new tyres!).
However, some good chap has told me they are 323Fgt wheels or something similar.
The stud pattern looks identical however I am lost with everything else!
They are Enkei wheels with '14 5 1/2 JJ' on them, is this some type of sizing? would they fit a Mk1 1.8?
Cheers for any help.

I think they should fit. The 14 5 1/2 is a 14 inch diameter rim with a 5 1/2 inch width. Perfect for a set of winter wheels. However, some good chap has told me they are 323Fgt wheels or something similar.

Is that on the wheel or tyre?
14 5 1/2 will be diameter & width in inches as Reaper said.
If they are Mazda 323 GT wheels they will fit. Look for another stamp inside the rim somewhere that will be something like ET45 - that's the offset. Ideally you want between 35 & 45 but lower than 35 is ok.

As mentioned, check the inner rim for an offset figure.
Yes, which means they will fit fine and handle well enough though it might look like the wheels are a little inset as suggested by Evangelion. Don't try 10mm spacers though - the studs aren't long enough for that. The biggest you can get away with without fitting longer studs is about 5mm.
