Sounds good, always loved Dolly's, doesn't look too bad in Russet brown either, altough I'd paint the wheels properly. Anybody know what the seats are from?

My Dad had one in the mid-Eighties. He picked it up for peanuts at the time but it was a really good car! It had character.

The Scimitar and Granada are both ace.

The Dolly less so.

When i was growing up i had one next door neighbour with a Dolly and one with an Allegro.

My mum had an MGBGT and my old man a 911.

Had one of those, radid for it's time bloody steering wheel (Adjustable) used to rattle all the time, most annoying!

I'd take the dolly over the hideous Ford any day. The Grandad looked like it had been through a crusher before it made it to the showroom.

There's a bush at the bottom of the steering column that gets a bit worn and would have needed replacing. The adjustable column makes a great slide hammer for getting the splines back into the intermediate shaft, which is curiously satisfying.

Good little cars, shame about the manky seats in that one.
