I've always had a problem with my nuts. Ever since I got the cerbera, they've always been a pain. I kept thinking about how they looked ; black, pitted, scabby . My wife has also had the same thoughts, so i had yo think of a cheap way to make them look better. I decided to 'colourcode' them to match the car.

This was ok, but I was forever having to 'touch' them up every time the wheels came off.

Decided to buy the JFS ones. What a difference they make. The dogs wotsits.

My wife and I are so happy now, as she loves my nuts at last.

Lovely set of nuts there, mate! I saw an advert in Sprint this week for JFS and think I will go for it. Very nice calipers and wheels too!

Damnit! And I thought I was the only one that'd painted the calipers.

Looks great, mate!

I just used Hammerite smooth, as per a few recomendations on here. £5.40 / tin.

Hi JS.

No. I'm affraid i'm also sad for painting my calipers. I do think they look better for it though. You'll have to do your Tuscan calipers now you've sold the cerb....or do you mean you have already done them.

Not done the Tuscan's yet... they're black with yellow lettering already, which I think I'm quite happy with for now. Got to get the lumpy running of my S6 engine sorted out first before I start thinking about little tweaks like that...

I had all sorts of problems with lumpy running and misfires on my first Tuscan. Mine was a very early 4 ltr. The factory were of no help (they all do that sir). Eventually I got pissed off with it a exchanged it for another Tuscan but not long after I did the exchange Dreadnaught came up with what is supposed to be a cure.

If you search on the Tuscan forum for constant throttle misfire you should find the details...

All the best

Cheers - it does sound similar to that problem with the throttle bodies, but it runs absolutely fine under acceleration, etc. The engine was rebuilt to RR spec in 2002, so I'm not sure if that's the problem or not. The car's with Joolz having a couple of new tyres put on it at the moment anyway, so hopefully he'll get 10 minutes to have a quick tinker.
