Driving around over the weekend I was experiencing some rattling from the front n/s on uneven roads. A quick check roadside didn't reveal anything odd that I could see (ball joints and TR end etc. still tight), so when I got home I had a chance to get underneath. The lower bolt securing the drop link to the leading link was missing, causing the drop link to rattle around. The same bolts on the O/S was barely more than finger tight. I put these links on well over a year ago, and although it's remotely possible I did not fully tighten both sides, I'm very careful about that sort of thing. Although the bolts are fitted with a spring washer, they should only be tightened to 12-15 lbs ft, especially as the bolts go into an alloy body. All reassembled today, and both sides were treated to a dose of threadlock which should hopefully keep everything in place.

Yeah I had the same problem. A little Thread locker seems to have cured it.

Here is wot I said in the other drop link thread...

Polyurethane drop-link bushes are a big improvement on original equipment giving a noticeable increase in steering feel/precision. The SH drop-link kit is a noticeable step up again but fitting will normally require the ARB ends fettling a little and also liquid thread-lock is advisable to avoid loosing the bolt. Go on ask me how I know wink
I don't just make this stuff up you knowsmile
