shogun or pathfinder?

hi, looking at both of these, both used, 5 years old. any thoughts? diesel, auto, all the toys. i would imagine both are very sturdy. yes i need 7 seats and off road ability, not much between them. shogun seems to be cheaper road tax, cant work out why as it has a bigger engine 3.2 v 2.5. insurance identical. any opinions welcome, thanks Mike
