Is this tyre repairable?

Had a bit of tyre trouble on the M6, was blasting along at 90 odd in the Merc, up near Carlisle, hit a bit of wood, only small but made quite a bang, I thought it hit the rear right tyre.

Some miles later, pulling out of the services I felt a bit of vibration, about 5 miles further on all hell broke loose, it was a 6 year old Pirelli.

Is it repairable?

How have you managed to keep a set of tyres for 6 years ?

The tyre looks fooked to me. The tread depth also looks a bit low to me as it is anyway so it was probably getting near time to replace it anyway.

Definitely a Joke (I Hope), but its scary anyone would drive on a tyre like that anyway, its almost on the tread blocks already, that would be lethal in the wet!!

Or take it into Kwik Fit and ask them to use one of their rubber hammers on it.

Thankfully that's another one gone to the big tyre graveyard.

I'm warming to it. It's much nicer in the flesh. Yeah, they were here yesterday. Have they brought the zafira to compare it to? Our demo is clearwater blue. It really suits it too.

I agree. Yeah that Zafira was here too. I didn't go around the cars with them cause sales were doing that and we were busy. I saw your at Silverstone, will look out for you!
