anywhere in derbyshire good or specialise in e36 m3 ???

turns out the m3 i bought yesterday is a complete shed. its not running well at all its juddering really bad and making some right noises, 1 noise seems to be from inside or under the engine and other is not all the time but coming from the vanos! .....car actually drives smooth thought so can it still be the vanos????

gearbox is smg converted to manual (bodge job i think)as clutch is so stiff and defo not right and gears dont seem to line up right!!

also hood dousnt work properly it needs a bit of help and the window has now been slashed, any ideas where i can take it ?? derbyshire or midlands way ??

might be worth taking a trip or at least contacting , darren wood in stockport , not a million miles away and he gets the best reviews of any garage i have ever seen, he is one of our customers in the trade and lots of owners use him from the ,m3cutters, forum, both guys there are time served m mechanics from dealers in the manchester area, might be worth a call at least.
my inspection 1 due early next year on my e46 m3 will be going there without hesistation.

i have it booked in to a bmw specialist in sheffield in the morning to see if they can see whats wrong with it but im sure i will take a trip to stockport aswell as i defo need to find someone reliable and who knows exactly what there on about.
