Le Mans Testing 25th April

Anyone else doing this run later this month. We have about 5 TVRs going from the Essex area - staying at the Ibis I think.

I believe there are some of the Surrey TVR CC going - anyone else?

I'll be there too, arriving approximately at 14:00 on saturday. Should we arrange a meeting ?

I'll be there sometime in the afternoon on Saturday, don't know what car I'm taking yet though?

I'll be there Sat afternoon, we will be camping in the campsite at the top of the pits by the tunnel entrance

Where are you going for a beer on Sat night?

A meeting sounds good. Someone has mailed me with the details of a recommend restaurant in Le Mans - doesn't know the name tho - can anyone help?

From the coach drop point, walk up the hill, under the bridge. At the top, don't go straight ahead, aiming for the square, but turn right.

Follow the road along, and it starts to drop down a slope. The restaurant is on your right as you walk down, next to the pedestrian crossing. There are a couple of bars on the left hand side, behind the bushes.

Plus points for this spot are:
+ nice restaurant.
+ bars just over the road

Oh dear, this is not gonna get me anywhere. Do you want me to get lost ? I recommend something easier to find, like the TVR pit garage on Saturday afternoon at a certain time or the first pit garage at the pit entry. The paddock is open to public on Saturday. So the garages are accessible (if the ACO don't change their mind).

I'll think I'll give that a miss this year, I'll be stopping south of Le Mans, near Ecommy.

Not sure what time we will be there on Saturday - we might go to the hotel first. We are taking the 9.30 SeaFrance ferry from Calais on Saturday morning.
