Be more specific ~ is it manual or auto? Assuming manual is it in all gears? Any crunching noises? What does the clutch pedal feel like? etc etc

my most sincere apologys for the baxxxxd word to all concerened
the car is a 1.3 SI 1999 nissan micra
the clutch engages/disengages via pedal ok
fluid levels ok
car drives as normal [as normal as a micra ]
I think that there may be a linkage or something siezing

If the clutch is OK then almost certainly the linkage between the stick and the box. At the gearbox end there is a joint with some nylon bushes which seize. Bushes aren`t sold separately though ~ you need the linkage. From memory part number is 34103~4F410.

This happens to all K11's at some point

Simply undo the two joints on the linkage where it meets the gearbox - clean them up, grease and reassemble. Don't overtighten the bolts when you put it back together though!

Did this to my daughters 2001 Micra - no problems since
