Hi

I recently bought a titanium grey Tvr t350 on classifieds and shipped it sweden where i live, and when driving the car in sweden the clutch went and i changed it and the decat to new cats, and now to come to the problem, the mechanic guy did have the key in the ignition when they plugged in the fuse so now the car is locked and i dont have any reserve key, what to do?

So the car is locked and he cant open the car and the key is in the ignition. Need respond asap.

Trying to recall the scenario I had recently. My battery had gone flat, windows went down and car was unlocked. I'd tried to start the car and the keys were in the ignition. No luck. Shut the door and plugged in the Anderson lead and connected jump clips to my 4x4. At that point the doors locked, windows went up and I was locked out of the car. Pretty much same scenario as you.

Disconnected the jump lead and repeatedly pressed door buttons and boot release. Eventually after a couple of mins the boot did release and I was able to crawl in through the back to retrieve the key. Maybe I just got lucky, or could be linked to the fact that the battery was near flat, but hopefully may provide a clue on getting in.

I understand if you dont want to tell that to a stranger, but im the legit owner, did add a pic to my profile. But i just got a respond through my email how to get in so i will see if thats work, maybe the mechanic guy already have solved it, but thanks alot for the respond.

Have you seen the movie Herbie? The car has a mind of its own and it locks and drives itself. TVRs are similar, so keep a close eye on your T350 as its about to drive itself home

Best tips to get high mileage from clutch?

Change fast, and try little heel toe in downshifting so it goes more smoother? Maybe it dont affect much anyway? Havent tride heal toe downshifting before, but how many really does it everytime?

will be glad if the clutch holds 30000 kilometres before next change, will not drive more then 5000 kilometres/year so.
