Chaps - are the Tamora, T350 and Sagaris windscreens all the same?

After working with a team at the Britcar 24 hour race this year I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that a glass screen is the way ahead for endurance racing. I am using coated polycarbonate at the moment but the curvature of the screen eventually leads to cracking (quite quickly after a bit of brake fluid blows on the screen), right in the line of sight, and use of the wiper for a prolonged period will cause scratching despite the anti scratch coating.

The bodyshell is a Sagaris prototype, which may cause some issues, but I guess a screen suitable for a Sagaris road car is the best starting point.

So would a T car screen also fit a Sagaris? Has anyone ever come across a heated option?

I'm getting a new windscreen for mine, no cracks just water ingress around the edges of old one, your welcome to try my old one to see if it fits before buying a new one.

Using the modern wire cutting tool (as opposed to tyhe old type that hacked along the edge of the windscreen) it shouldn't be a problem at all. Definetly question any windscreen fitter that can manage that.

The early T350 (up to 2003) uses the same screen as the Tamora. 2003/on is the same as the Sagaris.

544mm top to bottom in the middle = early version; 540mm = late.

If the glass has a trim top/bottom, remember to make an allowance for this; you can sometimes expose the glass edge by gently pushing the trim back with an old credit card.

My car has a polycarbonate screen currently, cut from a flat sheet using a custom template and bolted in place. The aperture size is therefore very easy - no trim anywhere!

The dimensions are for the glass - aperture size will be different
