Decent places to stay around Bicester?

Myself and my OH have been invited to a friend's 40th birthday party, over the Haloween weekend, in Bicester.

Can anyone recommend a decent place to stay around there please?

Only place I've had mentioned so far is the nearby Golf/Spa Hotel which at £170 a night seems a bit excessive.

Buy a tent, im sure he has a garden or there are some local roundabouts

Old School House B&B Stratton Audley. Nice lady runs it, gets good reports from those who stay there. Pretty village, too (I live there!) 2 miles from Bicester.

Either that or Hill View Farm B&B Poundon which is also close, has great views of rural Oxfordshire and is also run by a nice lady!
