My 360 dont wanna play Bioshock...

So was having a clear up on my memory the other day and thought, yep, haven't played Bioshock for a while. So i deleted the save data, started again while the game plays, the graphics of the walls and floors and building is not right. Anybody help please? All my other games seem to play fine.

I had this sort of weird stuff going on shortly before my 360 died with "Error 74"

Sorry it is bad news, one of 360's did this on a game too before it died in three red light glory.

Hopefully i am wrong and you can continue to play all your other games.

i've played on a bit further and got onto Neptunes Bounty level, seems to have sorted itself out now. Bit strange, the systems only around 20 months old, only played on around 5-7 hours per week, and probably used for dvd's around same sort of time, so not really excessive usage.

Doesnt seem to make a lot of difference how much the xbox is used - some die on their first day, some last for years, some get the red ring of death after 6 months

It's just down to luck.

Those artifacts are a classic sign of graphics corruption normally due to overheating.

You will get E74 error. Something to do with the scaling chip. Mine looked similar. I'll post a pic once I'm on the PC.

Dont microsoft repair them for that error then? like the rrod? Dont really wanna trade it as it'll only be worth £40 or £50 and like i say, its not even 2 years old yet

Yes, E74 is now covered for 3 years, mine was 4 and a half years old (launch console)

Cool, thanks, i'll hang onto it for a bit and wait for inevitable, cant really afford another £100 - £150 atm to replace it and the other games are working fine.
