Well the timer has given up the ghost on my dualit. I have had the toaster just over 15 months and the damn timer started sticking. Google provided me with instruction to try and un-stick it, looked good until this morning the damn thing stuck again.

Now I am faced with having to buy a new timing unit for it because the warranty has gone missing. GRR

Anyone any ideas apart from fleabay and dualit for a new timer? Google is coming up short.

Where did you buy it from? 15 months for a VERY expensive toaster doesn't seem good to me. Take it back to the store? Or send contact Dualit to see what they say...

Take it to John Lewis and tell them you've lost the receipt. I'll wager a pound you'll walk out with a new one if you're polite about it.

John Lewis will just send the duff one back to the manufacturer for a replacement.
