I've read on UKDRN that Bangshift are "in discussions with NHRA" Steve, so I guess the jury may still be out on that one.

The chat was invaded by der brits tonight, mostly "the usual suspects" from PH.
Great qualifying & racing, stream was trickling sometimes but, hey, it´s free !

The dust storm was nasty. No way they could carry on racing as it was.

Awesome and totally inspiring weekend at Famoso, met some heroes and caught up with some people I've known a long time through forums etc.

If anyone is thinking about going next year - do it.

Great photos on ED, they run really fast 5 second runs common amongst the top fuel cars which is rather faster than they went in their prime. Are they totally like 70/80s cars {ie funny cars hops, flame spitting on tickover etc} are has clutch/tyre/ engine management technology changed them ?
