Should I do it or ?

Alright then my first TVR was a 3000M then for the past 11 years it's been my faithful Chimaera, yup 11 years.

I have always loved the T350C since it came out as I think its a modern M.

So should I do it or not, do I sell Chimaera & get a T350 ???
Could I use it as a daily driver ?

I mean the Chimaera lives in a carpeted centraly heated garage so the T would rest each night there,

Just nervous about doing this & saying goodbye to V8 grunt.

So guys & girls what u think then ?

The wife had a Chim previously before moving up to the T350. She has always said she misses the V8 burble and the power available at low revs, but wouldn't trade it for the top-end power of the S6 or the scream it makes.

I think she'd love a Chim again one day, but it'd be in addition to, not in replacement of.

Ermmmm.... Don't have a 350, but do have a Sag and now a Tamora. Why did I get the Tam? I got tired of the Chim feeling like the slow(ish) old barge it was (even Nitron'd up etc), as compared to the laser-like Sag.

As for the sound.... The S6 does sound good, but the V8 sound is something else. Which is also being administered to... BEst of both world? I think so.

I owned a Chimaera for 6 years. Lovely car. However the Tamora/T350 and Sagaris feel like cars from the next generation - they are much easier to drive (clutch/gearshift/less engine braking/better brakes/proper air con) and they handle much much better.

I suggest you take one of the above for a spin, they are all similar to drive. You will understand straight away.

I had my chim for 3 years and now own a tamora. I must admit the only thing I miss is the V8 rumble , everything else about the tam is better but as the others say do take one for a drive. :-)

Oh I think I should have said that she is not a standard Chimaera, got 450 tuned V8 in her, can out brake Cerbera, Tuscan, on track and can keep up with Sagaris on track, there's a vid on u tube of us doing that, so its not the speed I'm looking to do the change for, its the beauty of a T350C, I think that has me more than anything.

As for driving them, the only TVR I have not driven is a Typhon & I had the luck to spend an afternoon as a passenger in one.

So guys could one be used as daily driver, if fork out 20+ k I will want to use it all the time,

Have to say, I've got a safaris now but used to have a chim450 and I kinda miss it.sounds better and the low end grunt was awesome, also quite like the funny handling!sag is awesome though, stupid quick!

as much as you may miss the sound of the v8 you get used to the race car like sound of the speed 6, and the handling is supurb, and the looks, especially of the rear of the car are a work of art.

3 months 3 weeks and 5 minutes actually, nothing dissapointing about it at all, a fantastic car, but a change in fortune means something begining and ending with an S is on the horizon.

Had a Rover V8 powered Cobra before the Tam and whilst the woofle of the V8 through side pipes was pretty damn good, you can't beat a high revving straight 6

colin, i can tell you that in two years of ownership of my t350c, ive never enjoyed a car as much,ive had no problems at all,apart from keeping a eye on water levels, esp when driving around town,you really wont regret getting one, i dont need to tell you how good they look, and if your lucky, you might even find one with a speed six engine upgrade, for sensible money!
i would get tvr power cans on it, thats a must, imo.
no point me telling you what to look out for as you know more about tvr's than most here, i guess its just down to colour now.

think im going to hold onto my tiv,had a notion of a porsche but dont think thats gonna happen.
some interiors are awful, mines black and cream, the nicest imo.
you can take a spin in mine anytime if you want a drive in another t350.
i dont understand what it is with silver and blue owners, they all think theirs the fastest but the owners of black tivs just grin and say nothing as were so far ahead, the other owners forget about us!
