Ok,

My wife has test driven the Mini Cooper and wants to purchase one new in February, she currently has a Vauxhall Corsa on PCP so we need to wait until then to hand it back (End of agreement), now we’ve been to a couple of main stealer’s and I’m entitled to 3% discount through my company

The price of the car with option’s is around 17.5K, (16.8 Ruth) with my discount, we want to buy the car outright over 5 years anyone know of any good deal’s anywhere both with finance and cost of purchase?

Swindon Mini contacted me about 2k off specials recently too. They are MY10 cars I believe, still a good saving though.

The '60 cars have revised engines with lower CO2 (at least the cooper S does - less sure about the cooper) the S jumped from 170 something to 139 - and a tax drop and mpg improvement. Best to check before getting an older one if it is important to you!

Thanks for the updates,

The MINI salesman told me about the cosmetic changes but not about the CO2 etc, typical

The engine change was in March so I believe these special deals have the new engine. The salesman confirmed that to me.

The engine change for the cooper S convertible happened in September! I had to move my delivery date out to ensure I got the newer engine!

What sort of interest rate should we be looking for, PCP & if we buy the car outright?

PCP 2-3K deposit (PCP over 3 years)
Outright purchase (5 years)
