How do I stop the the Targa panels whistling on my T330t

Is it a case of they all do that, or can it be quietened down?

What type of panels do you have? The earlier panels had fittings on the sides and let a lot more air/noise into the cabin. You could get a garage to fit some additional clips to tighten the panels further. If you have the later fitments (front/rear) then you will have to experiment with adjustment, or maybe replace the seal in the panel which is squashed when the panel is tightened down. If fitted correctly the panels should be quiet up to over 100mph unless it is a very windy day.

Edited to add: I remember you have just bought the orange targa - that will have the later type fitments. Trial and error to get them right.

I got some better roof seals from Racing Green, mine are now quiet up to about 80ish (tested on the track of course :-)

As Targa states - do you have the early panels with the clips to the side or the later, improved panels with the front facing clips? The fronts facing ones on mine gine virtually no wind noise at all even at silly (though obviously legal) speeds.

put them in the cosy bags in the boot and enjoy the fresh air and s6 noise

I found that there was only one precise position for the panels to eliminate (most of) the whistling. A far easier way to overcome the problem is to fit a JP sports exhaust!

My '03/04 panels are side and rear clipped and are all good until you hit above 120rpm and anything above 140rpm is a mini hurrican.

Mine have clips on the side, front and back.. don't have any wind noise at all..

Guess it depends on final gearing. Mine isn't even idling at that...
