'Mr Jaguar' - Only owned Jags - but he's owned 82 of them

This interesting fella has owned 80 Jaguars over the year, billing them as the fastest and safest cars on the road.

He's only ever owned Jags - I always find this full-on brand loyalty thing a little strange to be honest. Why not venture across to the dark side and test/own something else, it might be fun.
Bless him though - got into Jaguar because he's only 5ft 3 and the high seats allowed him to see over the bonnet

k fk fk fk, why did no one tell me sooner.....aaaarrrgghhhh" lolI started when I was 20, I'm now 28. I'm on my 17th Jaguar. I have an XJ6 and an XJS at the moment, and I'm looking for a 420G project.
The little brother is also of a simialr taste, he was the youngest XJS owner in the country at one point, at 16. He's now 23, and as I type this there's a MK2 240 on it's way to our house on a trailer for him.
The only thing that makes this guy weird is he's had nothing else.

, wouldn't mind having a walk around his garage.Before i went into business myself one of my old bosses who i worked for 15 years ago always brought a new range rover every year he was on his twenty fifth when i left he must be well in the forty number now always buys them in WHITE does 60/70 thousand miles a year(fuel costs 
)when i worked there he would often fill up twice a day.
He live in the same town as me so i see him often riding about he's got the new supercharger model now in white looks well nice but he's de-badge it after top gear slated the supercharger about the huge fuel costs he's about 70 years old and he don't hang about. Im so jealous.

Eccentric people make the world a far more interesting place. Good luck to him. I doubt if it matters much to him at this stage whether Jag makes the best cars; its a life-long hobby that has clearly given him great satisfaction, and being "Mr Jaguar" is part of his identity. Better than "Mr Stamp" or "Mr Knickers".

It's a bit weird but if it isn't for marque enthusiasts you wouldn't get good examples of old cars knocking around and you certainly wouldn't get 'collections' that are great to go and look at. Then you have all the club events, all the history, etc. It's social history.I just cannot understand why you would want to stare at the same badge on the steering wheel your entire driving life.
He might just of had a good experience with his first one so thought to himself "just get a newer version" every time and now he's on his 82nd

my friend's dad for example who only buys casio watches ,It's just having extreme brand loyalty,And a slight bit of ignorance of what else there is on the market.
I'll use an example such as some Apple customers who only buy Apple product's such as the newest phone without looking at what else there is on the market,they just have to have it ,even if the predecessor was better or there are better alternatives.
Could work with car's aswell
