Car midsection dropped out, really need to make a 2 hour round trip this evening to pick up some totty.. The car is extremely loud (mine and her ears may bleed) do I drive?

You could, but you'll probably get pulled over for noise pollution!

Not a good idea, irrespective of the legality - have you checked what the exhaust is now blowing on to? Plastic fuel tanks, fuel lines, brake lines etc. don't take kindly to this.

Any remotely decent bit of totty isn't going to be impressed either.

Unless he drifts into her road and does a swift handbrake turn before honking loudly outside her house that is! wink

Though going by the OPs profile picture, the drift bit might be a problem..

Maybe the OP will tell us how it went. wobble

pretty woeful! I'm doing very well if I get 30mpg usually redface

Sounded like a race car between 5-7k.. Pops and bangs were pretty cool too hehe

Couldn't stand the noise for second half of the journey so some of it consisted of 50-60mph using as little throttle as possible.. The other half was sprinted hehe

I think her ears were already broken as I was the only one suffering. Think my hearing is permanantly damaged.. At one point she said "take it out" in a conversation, I though she said "overtake" redface I didnt find out until after.

Leaving the sunroof open helped tongue out
