General Photoshoot lens

I have been asked to shoot a set of photos for a nude(Giggity Giggity Goo) calendar. I am just wondering what the best lens to "borrow" would be. I was thinking something like a 60mm or 85mm? Nice and fast and very punchy results.

Would this be right?

For headshots I use a 70-300 somewhere over 135mm, usually around 200mm. I like primes as well and tend to use a 50mm on crop and 85mm on FF

ETA, stay above 50mm where poss to avoid distortion

First what camera?

Second indoors or outdoors, more importantly do you have space to step back to frame?

The 85 would likely produce great results regardless.

Canon 400D
It is a Young Farmers job, so lots of outdoors but maybe in cattle sheds or barns ect.

1.8, dont think i can get away with a L.

Depends on space available. My OH usually uses 24-70 L. Occasionally he uses the 70-200, but in a smallish studio this won't allow him to take full length shots even at the 70 end.

ETA: And that's on a full frame camera. If you are using a crop, an 85 might be a bit long.
