Scratch Pens - any good?

I know these are probably crap - but anyone tried them and do they work to any sort of degree?

I have quite a few scratches on my met blue bmw and while its not worth spending a fortune getting them professionally painted I would like to tidy them up a bit.

anyone used them before?

I would call your local smart repair for some free advice.
Most light scratches can be dramatically improved for a reasonable price.

Something I read somewhere went along the lines of - "If the cheap stuff was any good, the expensive stuff would not exist."
