Anyone good at finding flights?

I've had a look at the popular sites Thomas Cook, Netflights, Expedia etc but does anyone else have any good flight search engines?

My mum has missed a flight from London to Banjual (sp) in Gambia this morning due to the Motoway being closed - the Police say they wont get off untill Midday today!!

She is gutted as flights don't go there all day every day so can't really get on the next flight.

I'm going to try and get her something ASAP indirect or direct as they can't do much on a motorway!

Any ideas where to start with flights to that part of the world?

We have about a day to get them there as they have loads of treks and trips booked after the first day there.

Just to help your search, the airport you want is Banjul in the Gambia and the airport code is BJL.

Looks like the only London flights are with Viking Airlines from Gatwick on Tues and Fridays and Stansted on Tuesdays.

Was it the Viking flight from Gatwick she missed today? Perhaps they can help? She might be able to get money back from the insurance/credit card company also.

I think so - they only fly twice a week.

On the phone to last minute and they have something via casablanca for Sunday - might go for that.
