Hi all,

I have a Tuscan with the fan mounted on a vertical blade down in the nose ahead of the radiator and trunking running back in a cut-out in the wheel arch back and then to the bulkhead mounted heater box. I don't like this set up as it effectively blanks off about 1/4 of the rad and, when it rains, the (electric) fan gets a soaking.

Has anyone got a cunning solution to re-siting the fan? I was thinking of relocating it above the pax footwell but that would mean changing the orientation of the heater box entry...

Solutions welcome!

Is there no space to mount it mid-stream? I.e. between the wheel arch and the heater box.

Your suggestion seems to be as TVR decided to produce the arrangement in my Tuscan.

I wish mine looked like that!

That is pretty well exactly what I had in mind! Does the pax side wheel arch have any form out recess in it for the trunking? - Can't see from the angle of the photo.

Yes it does, I have included a photo before restoration but without the air hose.

Hope this helps.
