I think the reg number is ironic, the price is dreaming, the English rubbish, and it's a bit illegal with "still a 1.6 in the tax book"

Hmm driving illegally in an uninsured car for the best part of 6 yrs! Glad he didn't crash into me. Horrible car and a dimwitted driver that's uninsured with 210bhp at his disposal - what could possibly go wrong?!

What a 700L...

Love how he put everything in upper-case and chose lower-case for 'ono'. Perhaps the shift key broke.

How has it got 12 months MOT if the engine numbers don't match confused

Was thinking that. Ive never seen an mot tester clean years or crud off an engine to check the numbers.

I was sort of thinking out loud, but I know I've had cars mot'd before where the tester has written down numbers (Chassis for sure but i thought engine too?) to enter into the comp.

I suppose the emissions would be too high too as the emissions for a 1.6 compared to a 2 litre turbo would be different and it should be tested at the original engines level.

Anyway, still a crap idea not registering it.

VIN number is part of the test. On an old Mini I had to cut out and replace the panel that had the VIN stamped into it and forgot to stamp the number into the new panel before getting it tested. I had to argue with an MOT tester to get him to pass it (I think I eventually got it thought on an age-related loophole).
