Scotland, Ben Nevis, Walking, 26th-31st december, P.O.I.'s?

Hi All,

Were planning a trip to Scotland this year to do some hardcore hill walking, around Ben Nevis.

Any pointers for landmarks we should go see, good pubs etc etc

Also any nice pictures of the area to really get me exited

I can recommend the Clachaig Inn near Glencoe after a long day's walking. Live music in the evening sometimes as well. You'll probably need to check they're open during that period though.

Worth having a browse around WalkHighlands Site. Great resource for walks with full GPS and pics of the walks. Can also map out your own walk on their OS maps and download the GPX data. Can also read reviews by people who have done the walks to get an idea of how difficult they are.

Also has loads of pics for you to get an idea of what to expect.
