OK, so the 2002 Volvo V70 XC Cross Country is being collected tomorrow - a nice winter mobile that should last me a few winters really.

Its on a 51 plate and I am tempted to get it something more suitable.

there are a few on newreg etc. What would you choose?

One of the V70 XC_ plates that are left (E, F, G, H, J, L, M, N, P, R, U, W) both my initials are there...

V70 SXC (it is an S spec car apparently)

V70 FWD (it is a front biased four wheel drive sort of thing...)

All the same money

^ there is a point, use that if you need one. My original thread is supporting a plan with no actual point!

V70 SXC, should look nice on it, much much better than the boring 51 plate.

service done, cambelt changed, tyres being done on Monday

this is over and above. For the purposes of this thread, assume it to be based on the fact that the person that won £113m on last Friday's Euromillions is insisting on buying me one of this selection of plates and will not take no for an answer.

Without claiming their winnings they were still happy to buy you a plate? That's generous!

Except it doesn't though, does it. It reads V70 LVU with a chavvy looking misplaced screw.

And 3 points and a £60 fine makes the misplaced screw a bit risky. smile

3 weeks later, in the 'Chavvy Number Plates Thread' wink

Although in all seriousness, that would be my vote. Of course, presuming 2Y is out of budget tongue out
