I'm doing my own plans for my extension, popped into see the local Planning Dept and they are happy with the plans I have drawn but said I need an OS Block Plan showing the local building layout, needs to be on a scale of 1:1250. Anyone know where I can get these from? I have been quoted £29 +vat by a local Prontoprint, I'm a tight bd and want it cheaper!

I tend to use http://www.centremaps.co.uk/ but they'll be a similar price

I use streetwise.net

I guess they will all be about the same price as it is determined by O.S.licence fees

We use http://www.goview.co.uk/goview/ at work, its £10 for 3 different scales of the same location.

I am not sure what the account requirements are though

Check out your local libraries, you are allowed to copy OS of your own property for 10p from there stock of 1-1250 maps. you may have to ring first to check which branch as them.
