Hi guys,

i've built an e36 track car which has no interior, 2 buckets etc you get the idea.

Im running GAZ coilovers with 550lbsprings all round and 235/45 888s - the car seems very tail happy compared to my s2000. Especially on quick direction change.

Is this a normal thing i need to get used to? That will hopefully improve with tyre temprature, or are my spring rates a bit off?

Cheers Rob

Have you had any sort of geometry work done on the car? Might be worth getting it sorted if not.

The rear end of my e36 is totally planted now - taking all of the weight off the rear end on the standard geometry will screw things up somewhat.

How have you set the height? Too much rake will make it tail happy.

Well, if this was Gran Tourismo I'd say soften the dampers on the rear a touch driving
