Well , here we are again at home
Recovery had run out
The towing eye on the front ain't that strong, ripped it out along with the front grill, luckily it missed the clam
Think I may have a scotch now
Another job for the list

I have also had this problem with the towing eye in the past, they are useless, hope it is an easy fix for you, let us know what caused the breakdown.

Well.
It was a problem of my own making but all in the name of development.
With the new panel I have had made I have put LED indicators, it would seem that the alternator doesn't like that and it effectively stops the alternator from giving out a charge.
Now, my alternator light has not worked for a while, long before I started the dash panel. So I don't know which way round the LED light should go, but if it is plugged in the other way round the lamp is alight all the time.
So, who has a bit more technical knowhow on alternators

Mines polished St Stl but only on the rear. I have towed mine from the std one. But i used a proper towing elasticated cord which helped. It did move a bit left on the first launch and messed the grill a bit.

Hope its sorted soon

These toeing eyes are about as useful as a chocolate teapot. mines more egg shaped than round after using it once.
