Am I the only person who thinks it's crap? Not funny, dull and self-indulgent.

Certainly, in the topsy-turvy world of heavy rock, having a good solid piece of wood in your hand is often useful.

Looks like it. If you've ever been in a band, or are even remotely interested in live music, it's unbelieveably well observed and accurate. It bears repeated watching, time and time again.

We had one! And a drummer who died in a bizarre gardening accident.

By pure co-incidence, I saw Jeff Beck last night. Apparently, Nigel Tufnell was based on him. Even now he's 66 years old, there's still a resemblance.

I first saw it years ago, laughed all the way through and have joined in with the 'in' gags ever since. Tried watching it recently and turned it off part way through wondering how I'd ever found it funny confused
