I know they're only a Rock covers band but, in some cases, their version is better than the original. Especially Zombie. If they play near you & you like rock go and see them. Also worth a look are Beggar and Under Ether. Can anyone recommend me some more local bands?

Seen them; awesome smile

Whereabouts in Essex are you? I like Anthem, they're always a good laugh. East Of Java are very good.
http://www.livebandphotos.co.uk/ <<< That's a very good website, got most bands on the circuit and most pubs listed smile

A bit of self-plugging can't hurt, bass player in Naked Apes myself biggrin. We play in Essex quite a lot, at the Rush Green Community Centre tonight wink

Only seen them once at the castlemaine in basildon and they were pretty good, got the crowd going and would go again.

Another good cover band is Expose, they play a lot of the same venues as hedgehod i think.

And Zombie was awesome smile

I use that website often to see what's on. I usually go to the Oakwood nr Rayleigh or O'Neills Southend. Do you ever play over this way?

My wife has recently passed away and I have just found her diary from 1983 when we started dating, 31st March was our first date and we went to the bull in Basildon and watched hedgehog, they played a great version of kool and the gangs get down on it.
