Looking at a family holiday, seen this quirky Barn offering where animals sleep / rest in the same building, but we're not sure....

Barn has all normal luxuries, sound system, sky, plasma, individual en suite for each bedroom with Adult room having balcony overlooking sizable garden / field & personal Jacuzzi (away from animals) barn has glassed in gallery area (that is sound and smell proof apparently) that enabled you to view the animals in their resting area? you have the choice wether to view or not as there are blinds, you'd be on the first floor looking down, animals are miniature varieties so nothing scary and very kid friendly.

So, as parents, would you indulge for your kids benefit? maybe you would for yourselves scratchchin maybe its a stupid idea silly

edited to add a more detailed description:

there is the chance to help feed and groom the animals which are; miniature pigs, Kune Kune pigs, miniature donkeys, miniature Alpaca, and to off set all the dwarfs? Giant flemish rabbits! biggrin
this obviously brings an educational side to things, it all looks very clean and well done and is NOT a farm, the animals are purely for the experience so it's all very 'Disney' in its approach.

More I think about it the more I am drawn to it & not just for the kids, sounds a laugh to me.

if I had young kids then yes, I reckon they'd love it.

as it stands, I wouldn't. I doubt the farmer would be impressed with my impromptu bbq smile

as long as the kids get taught to wash their hands after playing with the animals, should be a fun holiday, nice earner for the farmer as well I guess smile

Thanks for the votes so far, 50 / 50 split is not helping much though biggrin

have added a little more detail to original description as I think it sounded like your staying on a farm and that's not the case.

why wouldn't you want to go?

is it horrifically expensive? or are you worried that your kids might not like living next to animals?

Now that would actually be quite funny !! Everything in miniature including the farmers !! The kids would feel like they are in their own little world where everything is child like size.

I would go BTW.

I'm with you & totally up for it but my excitement over things like this can sometimes leave me overlooking something daft that could ruin the whole thing, hence putting it out to you guys.

Not that expensive, £600 for the week, board only, self catering, off season in France, kids will love it I know.

Love the dwarf farmer idea rofl he could use a 'toys r us' tractor biggrin

no linky yet guys, it's all very new, I only learnt about it through the planning office I'm currently dealing with, it is open now but website not ready until next Spring, I managed to swipe a marketing leaflet, I will also pop over to have a look as its not to far from me.
