The Silverstone improvements continue apace.

I presume they are moving the start finish line to be opposite the new complex.

Nope, as far as I can tell they're going to use both the new and the old places. The F1 and bikes will toddle down there but AFAIK they're still wanting to use the old pit and paddock for support races and the like...

IIRC the BRitcar 24hr is scheduled to use the new Pits complex next year.

One of my subcontractors does a lot of work for Buckingham who are main contractor on the pit/paddock project and apparently they're excellent so not unsurprising to see good progress. It's a vast building when you get up close.

I'm sure James said(at the drivers briefing for this years 24 hour race)that the 24 hour race would be on the "bridge" circuit in 2011 using the current pits, but would use the new pit complex and the new GP circuit in 2012
